Average Reviews

Mirdif American School, previously known as Mirdif Private School, is an American curriculum school that educates children aged 3 to 15 years old. Established in 1995, the school started its operation as a family-run villa school in Dubai. Later in 2009, they moved to a four-acre land in Al Mizhar 1.

Following the American Common Core Standard, including the California State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards, the school offers education until Grade 8. Currently, the school has over 850 students managed by a teaching force of 58 teachers and the same number of teaching assistants. Most students in Mirdif American School are Emirati, while most of the teachers are of American background.

Strong leadership coupled with a robust educational programme and outstanding campus facilities helps the school instil positive learning skills among students. Besides education, students participate in non-scholastic activities, resulting in the development of skills needed in the 21st-century. Therefore, it is regarded as one of the top American Schools in Dubai.

It is one of the few schools in Dubai delivering an international programme without compromising Arabian values and traditions. International mindedness is one of the reasons why Emirati parents are opting for this school. This guide provides an overview of the educational programme, non-educational activities, school’s facilities and other vital information.
